Raffle machine

The Akron Volunteer Fire Company – Station 12 hosts various raffles throughout the year. From cash to air pods, purses and various other items, our raffles are live-streamed on Facebook. Please read the Raffle Rules before participating in one of our raffles.

RAFFLE RULES:


  • Must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of Pennsylvania to purchase a ticket​.


  • Winner must claim the prize within 90 days of the drawing or the prize will be forfeited.


  • A debit card must be used to purchase a ticket.​


  • The Akron Volunteer Fire Company will retain a roster of participants. Roster is available for inspection with prior notice.


  • Participant will receive proof of purchase.


  • The drawing will be held at Akron Volunteer Fire Company, 1229 Main St. Akron, PA 17501 at the specified date/time on the tickets. This drawing is open to anyone that purchased tickets and will also be live-streamed on the Akron Volunteer Fire Company's Facebook page. Winner need not be present.


  • Raffles will be announced on our web site and on our Facebook page. Each online raffle will include a unique link for Zeffy, an online marketplace where we “sell” our raffle chances.


  • Regardless of whether all tickets are sold, the raffle drawing will take place on the time and date on the ticket. Any unsold tickets will become property of the Akron Volunteer Fire Company.


  • All raffles will consist of 75 tickets. All purchases will automatically be assigned a ticket number which will correspond to a standard bingo ball. The winner will be selected by a bingo machine, which is a passive selection device. Verification of all ticket numbers (bingo balls) will be done before each drawing.


In compliance with Pennsylvania Small Games of Chance regulations, the following conditions are in place:

 

A roster of raffle ticket purchasers will be provided to the fire company by Zeffy, our selling platform. In compliance with Pennsylvania Small Games of Chance regulations, every raffle ticket purchased will be automatically assigned a ticket number, to which the name, address and phone number of the purchaser will be associated. Each ticket number will correspond to a standard Bingo ball, after confirmation of all bingo balls being present, the balls will be dropped into our Bingo machine which will be used as a passive selection device to randomly draw the bingo ball to which the corresponding ticket number purchaser will determine the winner. All ticket rosters of those purchasing tickets for each raffle will be retained by the Akron Volunteer Fire Company. These rosters are available for inspection on a mutually agreed upon time, date and location by notifying the Akron Volunteer Fire Company in writing.
